Dialogue

As a species bound by social norms, humans constantly seek sympathy and approval. Yet, despite all efforts, true empathy between individuals may remain elusive. As the saying goes, “The sorrows and joys of humans are not connected, I only find them noisy.” In my project, I aim to create a unique, non-replicable experience that is deeply personal to each participant—one where they engage with their own emotions through an abstracted, transformed experience. In this process, the participant takes on the roles of both ‘speaker’ and ‘listener,’ engaging in a dialogue with their own feelings. This work invites a re-focus on the concept of the 'self,' fostering a conversation between the participant and their sentiments. My project serves as a tool, a medium for communication, completed by the input and emotional experience of the participants themselves.
